Rans Inc. started in 1983 with the production of aircraft and has delivered since
over 4000 UL-aeroplanes complete or as a building package. The production-prototype
of the Rans S-6 flew first in November 1988. The Rans S-6S entered production in 1993
and already over 1700 Rans S-6 Coyote II Series kits has been delivered since to
customers throughout the world. The standard engine of the Rans S-6S is the Rotax 503; 582;
912 or 912S.
On 17 may 2004, Rans S6-116 G-BUWK was photographed at Hoogeveen airfield in the Netherlands. The Rans S6-116 Coyote II c/n PFA204A-12448
was built in 1993 by R.Warriner. The MLA is equipped with a Rotax 582 engine.
