The Technoflug Piccolo B is a German high-wing, T-tailed, single-seat motor glider built by TECHNOFLUG Leichtflugzeugbau GmbH & Co.KG in Schramberg, Germany. The Technoflug Piccolo B motorglider was the company's premier product, followed up by the Technoflug Carat, a touring motorglider. The Piccolo is built from GFK-composites. The 23 hp two-stroke Solo 2350 BS engine is mounted behind the cockpit and above the tail boom in push-fit configuration. The folding propeller Technoflug KS 118-3-2 (diameter 1.22 m) with aluminum hub and three individually foldable blades is driven by a reduction gear consisting of three V-belts (2.1: 1). When the engine is off, the blades automatically fold backwards, reducing drag in glider operation. The centrifugal force puts the GFK blades back into operation immediately when the engine is started. The landing gear is of tricycle configuration and features optional wheel pants to reduce drag. The 13.3 m span wing is strut-braced and gives the aircraft a 23:1 glide ratio at 70 km/h. The wings fold for storage and ground transport. The design of the Piccolo is based on the AN20 built and designed by Alfred Neukom. The prototype AN-20 was flown first in 1978, using a T-tail carried on a Kevlar spar of round section. The Picollo was developed by LTB Frank Borowski in Fluorn-Winzeln and entered production in 1999. The first Piccolo were built with a pointed nose; the Solo 2350B engine and KS 118-3 Propeller(diameter 1.18 m). In this version, the Piccolo (later called Piccolo A), did not achieve the increased noise protection as serian production built Piccolo B. This Piccolo B was developed and built by Technoflug in Schramberg. About 120 Piccolo motor gliders were built. Most original Piccolo A aircraft were converted over time to Piccolo B.
The ICAO Aircraft Type Designator for the Technoflug Piccolo B is PILO.

On 10 April 2000, Technoflug Piccolo B s/n 121 was registered D-KAYC in Germany.
On 31 May 2018, the Technoflug Piccolo B D-KAYC was seen at Flugplatz Oerlinghausen (EDLO).
