The Tecnam P2010 TDI is a hght wing, four-seat, single engine airplane equipped with a fixed tricycle landing gear, built by Tecnam. Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM S.r.l., Capua, Italy, was founded in 1986 by the Brothers Luigi and Giovanni Pascale (formerly Partenavia). In 1992, Tecnam entered the MLA-market with the P.92 Echo. In 2008, Tecnam started with the development of the P2008, a conventionally laid out strut braced high-wing monoplane with a carbon fibre fuselage and integrated fin, destined for the MLA, Light Sport and VLA market and aimed specifically at the US market. Like the P92, the wings and tailplane were all-metal.
In 2010, Tecnam started with the development of the P2010. The Tecnam P2010 Twenty-Ten is a larger, four seat relative of the Tecnam P2008. Both types have metal wings and tailplane on a composite fuselage with integrated fin. On 12 April 2012, the Tecnam P2010 was flown first. On 26 September 2014, European European Aviation Safety Agency certification was completed, with American Federal Aviation Administration certification completed in December 2015. Deliveries of the Tecnam P2010 model started in 2014. Variants are:
P2010 - Base model with a 180 hp Lycoming IO-360-M1A air cooled flat four piston engine driving a two blade propeller.
P2010 - model with a 170 hp Lycoming IO-390-CB3 air cooled flat four piston engine driving a two blade propeller.
P2010 TDI - model with a 215 hp Continental CD-170 Diesel/Jet-A engine with three blade propeller.
On 20 October 2020, Tecnam recieved EASA Type Certification for the P2010 TDI powered by a Continental CD-170 Diesel/Jet-A engine. Today, over one hundred and thirty of P2010 aircraft are sold throughout the world.
The ICAO Aircraft Type Designator for the Tecnam P2010 is TWEN

In 2019, Tecnam P2010 s/n 083 was registered D-EWDG in Germany.
On 10 July 2025, Tecnam P2010 D-EWDG was seen at Flugplatz Porta Westfalica (EDVY).
