G-TAFC Maule M-7-235B Super Rocket c/n 23062C - Groningen Airport Eelde in Holland - 10 August 2005 Groningen-Eelde airfield (GRQ)

The Maule M-7-235B Super Rocket is a single piston engine, five-seated, steel cage construction, high wing STOL aircraft with conventional tail and tailwheel. However, five-seated is not really a pleasure for longer flights due to the lack of space in the cabin of this taildragger. The Maule M-7-235B is a further development of the 1983 Maule M-7 and was approved by the FAA on 14 October 1993. The Maule M-7 itself was evolved from the 1957 built Maule M-4 Bee Dee. The Maule M7-series are built and developed by Maule Air Inc. in Moultrie, Georgia, USA. Next to the fixed landing gear taildragger the M-7 series is available as an amphibian aeroplane and as a floatplane. In 2003, a further development of the Maule M-7, the Maule M-9 was introduced. Since, the Maule M-9 replaced the Maule M-7 in production.

On 21 April 2005, the fixed-wing amphibian Maule M-7-235B Super Rocket s/n 23062C was registered G-TAFC in the UK by the "The Amphibious Flying Club Ltd". The 2000-built Maule M-7 was registered before in the USA as N210SA.
