more at Groningen-Eelde airfield

The Cirrus Design SR22 is a four-seater aircraft, standard equipped with the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). This safety system lowers the entire aircraft to the ground in extreme emergencies. The Cirrus Design SR20 and SR22 aeroplanes for Europe and Africa are delivered out of Duluth, Minnesota in the USA via Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands. General Enterprises b.v. at Eelde airfield is the agent for Europe and Africa; the European Distribution Centre of Cirrus Design Corp. will be build at Groningen Airport Eelde.

The Cirrus Design SR22 N1624C was flown first on 19 June 2003 and arrived on delivery at Eelde on 1 July 2003. After being prepared for the customer, Cirrus Design SR22 N1624C departed to Aarhus in Denmark on 22 July 2003. It is remarkable that in the US-register this SR22 was re-registered N248BC on 27 June 2003.
