The Cessna 150 is a two-seat single engined high wing light aircraft of
all-metal construction. In the mid 1950s, Cessna Aircraft Company began
with the development of the Model 142, a tricycle-geared two place trainer.
Model 142 was based on the tail-wheel Model 140. After Cessna 142 N34258
was flown first in September 1957, the Model 142 was renamed Model 150. Production of the
Cessna Model 150 started with 122 built during 1959. When production ended in 1977 a
total of 23840 were manufactured. In 1966, a version of the 150 designated the Model
F150 started production in Reims, France. The Reims Aviation S.A. built a total of 1758
Reims/Cessna F150 airplanes.
On 2 September 2004, Reims Aviation S.A. built Cessna F.150M Commuter PH-RUD was photographed at
Hoogeveen airfield. The 1975-built Cessna F150M c/n F15001163 was registered PH-RUD with Luchtvaartbedrijf
De Kempen BV, Budel, the Netherlands, on 24 April 1975. The in France built Reims/Cessna PH-GDA was registered
over the years with different registered owners. On 8 February 1994, the Cessna was registered with sold Sitraco BV, Teuge.
