D-EPUC Cirrus Design SR20 c/n 2049 - Groningen Airport Eelde in Holland - 29 October 2022 Groningen Airport Eelde (GRQ)

The Cirrus Design SR20 is a four-seater aircraft standard equipped with the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). This safety system lowers the entire aircraft to the ground in extreme emergencies. The first Cirrus SR20 was delivered in 1999. Improvements in composite manufacturing have over the times shaved off pounds from the empty weight of the Cirrus SR20 and SR22 improving its payload. The Cirrus Design SR20 and SR22 aeroplanes for Europe and Africa are delivered out of Duluth, Minnesota in the USA via Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands. General Enterprises b.v. at Eelde airfield is the agent for Europe and Africa; the European Distribution Centre of Cirrus Design Corp. is situated at Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands. Over 8000 of the all-composite SR20, SR22 and turbocharged SR22T aircraft are built.

The 2010-built Cirrus Design SR20 s/n 2049 was registered N588PU. On 19 april 2021, registration N588PU was cancelled as exported to Germany and registered D-EPUC. However registered in Germany, Cirrus SR20 D-EPUC is based at Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands and is used by General Enterprises for training and rent.
On 29 October 2022, Cirrus SR20 D-EPUC was seen at the General Enterprise location at Groningen Airport Eelde.
