Boeing 737-8BK s/n 33016 l/n 1588 flew first as N1786B on 1 October 2004. The airliner was delivered as N807SY to Sun Country Airlines on 20 October 2004. The aircraft is leased by Transavia Airlines for the summer of 2008. Boeing 737 N807SY was ferried Minneapolis-Keflavik-Amsterdam on 20/4-21/4/2008. The registration N807SY was cancelled on 21 April and the aircraft was registered PH-HSV with Transavia Airlines cv, Amsterdam, on 22 April 2008. The PH-HSV entered service Amsterdam-Heraklion as HV703 on 24 April. On 31 October 2008, registration PH-HSV was cancelled and the aircraft was registered N807SY in the US with Wells Fargo Bank Northwest NA Trustee, Salt Lake City, Utah, the same day.
On 5 May 2008, Transavia Airlines' Boeing 737-8BK PH-HSV was seen at Groningen Airport Eelde (EHGG/GRQ) in Sun Country colors with transavia.com titles.
