TC-SKD Boeing 737-4Q8 c/n 25372 l/n 2280 - Sky Airlines - Groningen Airport Eelde in Holland - 5 June 2004 TC-SKI Sky Airlines

The Turkish charter airliner Sky Airlines (SHY) was established in 2000 as an affiliate of the KayiGroup, located in Antalya. Commercial flights started with a fleet of 2 Boeing 737-400 airliners on 12 April 2001. In May 2002, Boeing 737-4Q8 TC-SKD was leased from ILFC and is operated by Sky Airlines since. The aircraft was originally built for ILFC and flew first on 24 April 1992. The Boeing was leased first by THY and delivered as TC-JDI on 8 May 1992. When the Boeing 737-4Q8 entered service with Sky Airlines in May 2002, the aircraft was re-registered TC-SKD. Boeing 737 TC-SKD "Black Eagle" was photographed at Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands, when operated on a holiday flight.
